Selina Kyle isn’t done yet. DC is extending Absolute Catwoman from six issues to twelve, carrying the series into 2027, ComicBook.com first reported. Writer Che Grayson and artist Bengal are staying on for the new issues.
From miniseries to a longer run
Absolute Catwoman spun out of Absolute Batman and was announced at NYCC 2025 as a six-issue miniseries. Issue #1 landed June 10, 2026. The first six issues were co-written by Grayson and Scott Snyder; the report credits Grayson and Bengal for the extension and doesn’t spell out Snyder’s role going forward.
It isn’t the first Absolute title to get this kind of bump. Absolute Martian Manhunter was previously extended from six issues to twelve as well.

Where the story stands
The opening arc finds Selina’s retirement cut short when her old partner Holly is kidnapped by Cassandra Cain’s League of Shadows. That kicks off a race for the Yarn, an extraordinarily powerful supercomputer, with Helena Bertinelli and Victoria Sage from her old crew back in the mix.
If you’re collecting along, ComicBook.com lists Absolute Catwoman #4 for November 4.

What the creators said
Grayson called continuing Selina’s story an honor and said the next chapter will deepen her ties to Gotham and beyond. Bengal said he was ecstatic to learn the team would get to tell more of Selina’s story next year.
We couldn’t find a matching announcement from DC itself, so details beyond ComicBook.com’s report are still thin. We’ll update as more arrives.

Spoiler warning: the next section discusses the final page of Absolute Batman #25.
Spoilers: how Absolute Batman #25 sets this up
The extension spins out of the final page of Absolute Batman #25, which revealed that Selina is pregnant. The extended series picks up from that reveal.
