Assassin’s Creed is leaping off the screen — and we mean that literally. Ubisoft is turning the franchise into a live stage show called Assassin’s Creed Heredis, blending parkour, acrobatics and choreography across different historical eras. The official Assassin’s Creed channels are actively promoting it now, teasing that “this winter, the Assassin’s Creed universe is coming to life off the screen.”
If you somehow haven’t heard about it, you’re not alone — and that’s part of what makes it such a fun surprise. This isn’t a game, a movie or the upcoming Netflix series. It’s an actual acrobatic stage production.

What is Assassin’s Creed Heredis?
Assassin’s Creed Heredis is a live theatrical show inspired by the games. It fuses parkour, acrobatics and choreographed movement to bring the series’ signature free-running to a real stage, jumping across different historical settings. In other words, the thing Assassin’s Creed is most famous for — leaping across rooftops — becomes a live performance.
Who’s behind it?
The show comes from Ubisoft in partnership with Les 7 Doigts, also known as The 7 Fingers — the acclaimed Montreal collective known for pushing acrobatic and circus arts into bold theatrical storytelling. That pairing makes sense: few troupes are better suited to translate a franchise built on athletic movement into a stage spectacle.
Where and when can you see it?
Right now, Assassin’s Creed Heredis has two confirmed runs:
- Montreal — Place des Arts, Dec. 3–20, 2026
- Paris — Casino de Paris, Jan. 21 – Feb. 7, 2027
The catch
Here’s the honest part. The show is performed in French, and so far it’s only booked in Montreal and Paris. Ubisoft hasn’t announced any U.S. or wider international dates. So for a lot of fans, this is more of a “wow, that exists” moment than something they can easily go see — at least for now.
Still, as a piece of Assassin’s Creed history, it’s a genuine first: the franchise has never been adapted for the stage before. And with a live-action Netflix series also on the way, the brand is clearly expanding well past the console. A parkour circus show might be the most on-brand direction of all.
