VisionQuest’s “Immolation” Sets IMDb Trilogy Record, Screen Rant Reports

Screen Rant reports VisionQuest’s penultimate episode is now the best-rated installment of Marvel’s WandaVision-to-VisionQuest Disney+ trilogy on IMDb. Here is what the record does and does not mean.

By November 6, 2026

Light spoilers: this story names Episode 7, “Immolation,” but does not discuss its plot. Our spoiler-heavy coverage is linked below.

VisionQuest’s penultimate episode has become the highest-rated hour of Marvel’s three-series Disney+ saga on IMDb, according to Screen Rant. The outlet reported on Nov. 4 that Episode 7, “Immolation,” sat at a 9.2 rating from more than 1,300 votes at the time of writing, edging past the 9.0 it lists for Agatha All Along‘s best episode, “Death’s Hand in Mine.”

The key word is “trilogy.” This is a record inside the WandaVision / Agatha All Along / VisionQuest run, not across Marvel’s streaming TV. We could not open IMDb ourselves, so every rating here is Screen Rant’s, as of Nov. 4, and IMDb scores drift, especially in the first days after an episode airs.

Where it sits in Marvel’s Disney+ pecking order

Screen Rant’s own table of top-rated Marvel Disney+ episodes puts three entries above “Immolation”:

“Immolation” comes in fourth on that list at 9.2. Not bad for a show whose first-season finale has not even aired yet.

What the episode did

Screen Rant singles out Paul Bettany’s performance in the hour. We reached the same place on our own: Episode 7 is where the season’s central question about Vision gets an answer, and it is the hour that finally showed us the face behind The Client. If you have seen it and want the full breakdown, start with our Canon Event piece on Vision’s choice, Who TF Is The Client?, our Phineas Horton explainer, and the Lore Check on the Synthetic Man.

The finale is next

The season-ending “Forever” arrives Tuesday, Nov. 10 on Disney+, per Screen Rant and TheWrap’s schedule rundown. Whether the finale can top its predecessor will be an easy thing to track once the votes pile up. For everything else on the series, our VisionQuest hub has the full run.
