AMC, Regal and ODEON revealed their Avengers: Doomsday collectibles: Doom busts, Doom's Throne and two different Sentinel heads. AMC and Regal start Dec. 17.

Doctor Doom is coming for the concession stand. AMC Theatres, Regal and ODEON revealed their Avengers: Doomsday collectibles on Oct. 29, and the lineup looks exactly like what you’d expect from a movie named after its villain: Doom busts, Doom heads, Doom on a throne, and a couple of Sentinels for good measure.

AMC and Regal both say their items go on sale Thursday, Dec. 17, the day before the film opens, while supplies last. ODEON’s are “coming soon.” Nobody has announced prices yet.

AMC: four collectibles, two exclusives

AMC’s “Collectibles, Assemble!” lineup is led by the Doctor Doom Collectible, a crossed-arms Doom bust with glowing green eyes that comes with popcorn. The Bottle of Doom, a hooded Doom mask, comes with a fountain drink.

The two AMC exclusives are the Sentinel Head, a purple Sentinel with glowing green eyes, and the Team Icon Collectible, a lit-up hexagon that comes in three designs: the Avengers logo, the X-Men logo and Doom himself. Both include popcorn.

The fine print, per AMC: gourmet popcorn is excluded, the drink offer covers fountain drinks only, and AMC Stubs upgrades don’t apply. The collectibles are sold in theatres only.

Regal: The Doomsday Collection

Regal is calling its set The Doomsday Collection. Its exclusives are the Doom’s Throne Popcorn Container, with a mini Doom seated on a glowing, tiered throne, and the Sentinel Collectible Drink Vessel. So yes, there are two different Sentinel heads this year: one for popcorn at AMC, one for soda at Regal.

Regal also has its own Doctor Doom Statue Popcorn Bucket, and its promo art shows a stone-look popcorn tin stamped with the Avengers logo plus collectible cups, including one topped with a tiny throne-bound Doom. Regal says the items arrive Dec. 17 at select theatres, while supplies last.

ODEON: coming soon

ODEON’s first look shows the Doom statue, a hooded Doom head, a printed Avengers: Doomsday tub and the same purple Sentinel head AMC labels an exclusive. That’s less of a contradiction than it looks, since ODEON is owned by AMC. ODEON hasn’t given a date; its graphic says select cinemas, while stocks last.

Cinemark got there first, sharing a hooded Doom mask bucket and a Doom throne cup earlier this month.

Why there’s a Sentinel in your popcorn

The Sentinels aren’t a random pick. Marvel put a comic-accurate Sentinel head on display alongside the Doomsday costumes at its San Diego Comic-Con booth this summer. Our trailer breakdown has more on Doom’s war.

Plan your concession budget accordingly: Dune: Part Three opens the same day, and AMC already has a Double Sandworm bucket waiting.

Avengers: Doomsday, directed by Anthony and Joe Russo with Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, opens in theaters Dec. 18. Everything we know is on our Avengers: Doomsday hub.
