The most talked-about popcorn bucket in recent movie history is getting a sequel. According to The Hollywood Reporter and Attractions Magazine, AMC Theatres will carry a double sandworm-mouth popcorn bucket for Dune: Part Three, a follow-up to the viral Dune: Part Two design.
Attractions Magazine reports AMC’s lineup also includes a sandworm-topped drink container with a thumper and a tall, sculpted metallic-finish cup, with items due December 17. Cinemark has shown a Copper Sandworm bucket, listed as “coming soon,” and Regal has an exclusive Spacing Guild Navigator bucket, a tall bronze vessel, arriving in December with an exact date to come. No theater had announced prices at the time of that report.
The finale of Denis Villeneuve’s trilogy opens in theaters on December 18. Expect lines.
