Beerus has run out of patience with Earth. Episode 4 of Dragon Ball Super: Beerus, “The God of Saiyans,” is streaming now on Crunchyroll, and the God of Destruction is ready to wipe out the planet unless someone can produce the warrior he came looking for.
Here is the official synopsis from Toei Animation:
Over a trivial matter, Beerus decides to destroy Earth. In this desperate situation, Goku suggests asking Shenron about the “Super Saiyan God” that Beerus seeks. Is it possible to create this warrior, considered a mythical god?!
Last week’s episode brought Beerus and Whis to Bulma’s birthday party in search of other Saiyans. Catch up on Episode 3 here. Episode 4 is where that party goes wrong, and where Goku turns to the Dragon Balls for answers.

Shenron and the Super Saiyan God
Longtime fans know where this is headed. In 2013’s Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods, summoning Shenron is how the heroes learn what it takes to bring the Super Saiyan God to life, and it set up Goku’s first red-haired transformation. The episode stills Toei released for Episode 4 put Shenron, Goku and a golden-lit gathering of Saiyans front and center.

What makes this version different
