Walton Goggins Says Goodbye to the Ghoul Makeup as ‘Fallout’ Season 3 Wraps for Him

The star posted a farewell to California, saying he "just took it off for the last time" on Season 3.

Walton Goggins appears to be done playing The Ghoul for Fallout Season 3. The actor posted a Reel on Instagram this week, reported Thursday by Deadline and GamesRadar, captioned with the line “Just took it off for the last time.. Season 3… Gatdamn this felt good.”

According to GamesRadar, the post also reads, “I wish this road or this song would never end. Gonna miss you California… til the next time.” Goggins’ own post is the only source for the wrap so far: Amazon has not issued a statement confirming that production on the full season has finished, and GamesRadar reads the line as the actor removing his Ghoul prosthetics for the final time this season, not as any sign the show is ending.

Timing is unofficial. GamesRadar notes that co-star Kyle MacLachlan reportedly said earlier this month, at a book signing, that filming had about a month left and that the season would “probably come out maybe May or June.” That is a reported remark, not an announced date; Prime Video has not set a Season 3 premiere.

Season 3 has added Aaron Paul to its cast, per GamesRadar. For more on the production, see our earlier look at the Season 3 Pomona and Salt Lake City set builds and the Order of the Quill set photos.
