Everything Announced at Gamescom 2026

Gamescom 2026 brought a flood of reveals, hands-on demos, and release-date news out of Cologne. We’re keeping this running as our central hub for everything announced at the show — from the biggest publisher reveals to the indie booths worth knowing about. Biggest Announcements

Amphibian

JARCORP Interactive debuted Amphibian at the Future Games Show Live From Gamescom. It’s heading to PC via Steam, Switch, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S in 2028. Full coverage is in our standalone article.

Memoria Wake

Team Crescendo’s dark fantasy soulslike puts a weaponized umbrella at the center of its combat, with precise parries and boss counterattacks driving the action. It’s targeting Q1 2027 on PC and Xbox Series X|S. Read our full write-up.

Kitten Space Agency

RocketWerkz, Dean Hall’s New Zealand studio, brought Kitten Space Agency to Gamescom with a pedigree that’s hard to ignore: original Kerbal Space Program creator Felipe Falanghe and former SpaceX Flight Software Engineer Stefan Moluf are both on the team. The game is billing itself as the next leap for spaceflight sims, with procedural mission planning tools and, yes, kitty cosmonauts. RocketWerkz was also showing hands-on stations for its existing live titles, Icarus and Stationeers, plus early looks at two new projects, Torpedia and Art of the Rail.

Star Wars Zero Company

New Games & Reveals

Ghost Justice

Slovak studio Centurion Developments (Forgotten But Unbroken) is showing a playable demo of Ghost Justice, a stealth turn-based tactical action game where you lead elite units against drug cartels. It’s on Steam wishlist now, with no confirmed release date yet.

PUBG: Ded.net

Krafton revealed Ded.net, a new multiplayer FPS. Full details in our published coverage.

Nodusfall

HoYoverse announced Nodusfall, a dark-fantasy co-op action RPG. We’ve got the full reveal here.

Armatus

Roguelite shooter Armatus locked in a January 7, 2027 launch across Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series, PC and Game Pass. Source: Gematsu.

Worms Galactic Tactics

The Worms series heads to space with Worms: Galactic Tactics, a tactical roguelike built around destructible environments — and its reveal trailer teased another project still to come. Source: TechPowerUp.

Star Trek: Outposts Unknown

Indie Spotlight

Grannies on Wheels

Estonian studio Robot Laser Shark’s debut game is a clay-animated party game where elderly women drive monster trucks and fight over jars of jam. A demo is already live on Steam, with a full release planned for Early 2027. Full story here.

Helcast

Ricpau Studios’ pixel-art roguelite sends players to punish Norse gods, merging caught weapons into combo attacks. Publisher HYPER REAL is targeting PC via Steam in Q1 2027. Read the full piece.

Cats in the Shell

Newly formed Raven Studio (Tencent/NetEase veterans) is building a cinematic mech battler starring feline pilots, published by Infini Fun Studios. Full coverage here.

Karma Exorcist

Cyclos Studio’s Chinese-mythology metroidvania, also published by Infini Fun Studios, is set across a non-linear Three Realms with 360-degree chain-hook combat. Full details here.

Another Pint

Sofia-based Williwaw is five years into building Another Pint, a systems-driven tavern-management game with fully custom drink-crafting and a deep patron-relationship layer that unlocks quests and rewards over time. The studio is planning a more detailed follow-up after the show.

Cassette Beasts 2002

Raw Fury revealed Cassette Beasts 2002 is launching in March 2027, with an English voice cast that includes Baldur’s Gate 3 actor Neil Newbon. Source: RPG Site.

Dungeons & Dragons: Long Rest Tavern

Dungeons & Dragons: Long Rest Tavern is a newly revealed cozy business sim about running a tavern for adventurers in the Forgotten Realms, set for 2027 on PC. Source: Game Informer.

Silent Hill: Townfall

The cast for Silent Hill: Townfall was revealed at the show. See who’s involved.

Holstin

Ritual Tides

Ritual Tides is a Lovecraftian horror game from Vertpaint set on a mysterious island, with a new gameplay trailer shown at the Future Games Show. Source: GamesRadar+.

Escape from Playtime

Mob Entertainment revealed Escape from Playtime, a new 1-4 player co-op survival horror game set in the Poppy Playtime universe — this time putting players in control of the toys rather than the humans. Source: PC Gamer.

Action-Adventure

Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis

Amazon Game Studios and Crystal Dynamics are reimagining the original 1996 Tomb Raider, sending Lara Croft globe-trotting to uncover the secrets of Atlantis with modernized puzzles and cinematic set-pieces. Press got hands-off looks at a previously-unshown area during the show, but that coverage is embargoed until September 2 — we’ll have more once it lifts.

Son of Thanjai

Son of Thanjai, a Tamil action-adventure game set in the Chola Empire and written by Madhan Karky, launches spring 2027 on PS5, Xbox Series, PC and Game Pass. Source: Gematsu.
