The Clone Wars tactics game from Bit Reactor and Lucasfilm Games arrives on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in six days — right in the middle of Gamescom.

Star Wars Zero Company launches August 27, 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. EA and Lucasfilm Games confirmed the date this week — and it lands squarely inside Gamescom, which runs August 26 through 30 in Cologne.

Bit Reactor built Zero Company as a single-player turn-based tactics game. You run a squad, not a single hero: mission-based combat, with a base of operations called The Den where you recruit, customize and level up your operatives between missions.

The roster spans eight species — Devaronian, Human, Neimoidian, Ovissian, Togruta, Twi’lek, Weequay and Zabrak — with customizable specializations, talents, voices and outfits. A galaxy map with more than 150 planets ties it together, and a character bond system unlocks support abilities as your squad works together.

The story is set during the Clone Wars, away from the war’s famous names. You play Hawks, a former Galactic Republic officer leading Zero Company — a mix that includes a Clone Trooper, a Mandalorian and a Jedi Padawan. The target: Kundri Fathom, leader of a cult called the Infinite Coil that’s spreading a plague across the galaxy.

“Our team has poured everything we love about Star Wars into Zero Company,” said Greg Foertsch, Bit Reactor’s CEO and creative director. “We’ve worked hand-in-hand with Lucasfilm Games to create an authentic Star Wars story packed with unique new characters, robust character customization, a new ship, Separatist Droids, and much more, all rooted in the conflict of the Clone Wars.”

Douglas Reilly, VP and GM of Lucasfilm Games, put it this way: “Zero Company explores the Clone Wars from deep within the shadows of the conflict, through a lens we haven’t seen before.”

The Standard Edition runs $49.99 on PC and $59.99 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S; the Deluxe Edition is $59.99 on PC and $69.99 on consoles, adding two cosmetic packs and five painted weapon themes. Every pre-order includes a Crystalline Astromech Cosmetic Pack.

Composer Gordy Haab, a GRAMMY winner, scored Zero Company. The soundtrack releases the same day through Walt Disney Records.
