The Witcher 4 did not appear during Gamescom Opening Night Live on August 25 and isn’t playable on the show floor.

Instead, CD Projekt Red used Gamescom to spotlight The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Songs of the Past, a new expansion planned for release in 2027.

Ciri will lead the next Witcher game

The Witcher 4 was revealed at The Game Awards in 2024, with Ciri confirmed as the protagonist of the next chapter.
